Marc Rudov

I have just recieved the following e-mail, which I share verbatim:
"Marc Rudov is a key figure in today's men's movement, especially here in North America. If you don't already know him, he is the author of two books and has had many television and radio appearances. He is known as The No-Nonsense Man.

On fridays he debates Lis Wiehl on Fox about gender biases in dating, marriage, divorce, the workplace, etc. After each debate there is online voting to determine who "won" the debate. Marc has been doing very well, but the more votes he gets the more people will realize how important his arguments are.If you haven't seen any of Marc's publications, I urge you to visit his website (http://themansnononsenseguidetowomen.com).

On Marc's site you will find links to his debates with Lis Wiehl. Marc also has a mailing list that you can subscribe to to stay informed about his activities."

Lis Weihl is the author of "The 51% Minority — How Women Still Are Not Equal and What You Can Do About It." This title pretty much says it all for Lis.

What can I do about it? I'll be watching this debate and voting for Marc Rudov, since Lis is obviously a staunch feminist.

I'm really beginning to think these so-called even-sided "debates" on MSNBC or whatever it is with that feminazi Lis Weihl are actually pointless...

The War of the Genders will not be won on staged debates which, in any event, represent only a tiny amount of the output from our TV sets -- the rest of which is more openly hateful of men. We will not be changing minds and men's fate by "just about drawing" with some arrogant, self-absorbed woman. The War Against Women/Feminists/Female Supremacists will be won on other battles...

Point taken, although I would critique your choice of words here: I would not speak of a war "against women". That's the kind of phrase that gives the other side propaganda ammo. (Although it is certainly true that feminism is conducting a war against MEN!)

As for strength: that will come from building a political solidarity base among men. Which means recruitment. Getting the word out. And that is one point on which winning debates with feminists in a VISIBLE public way will do us good. It won't change the feminists, but it WILL sway the uncommitted toward our camp, and help to raise awareness.
