In the immediately foregoing post, I directed your attention to an item at Ulrich's Inferno blog, where he reports upon the surprising growth of male political awareness among men in his own circle.
Just a few hours ago, by way of confirmation, the following was submitted (by "anonymous") to the comment log for the post in question. I present it here, only slightly edited, in order give it a spotlight:
"ive been lurking through the various MRA blogs for about a year now since i first discovered them though i havent posted ever. i guess i was starting on the bachelor road since i was 14 and said i would never get married. a few years ago at 18 i bought a tshirt which i still have and wear which says. "Not all men are stupid, some are bachelors!" the older i get ,which all in all so far isnt that old, the more that t shirt rings true. regarding your recent blog post i have also ran into the same thing...more men are in on this than we think.....here is a theory i throw out for everyone out there.

This post is dedicated to all you out-of-sight men, wherever you may be. You know who you are. If you are an "outta sight man", I salute you. I too, am such a man!
I know that one school of thought says, "we must break the silence" - and that school, to be sure, has its points. But then again, silence is cool and mysterious, don't you think?
And I can assure you that our network ALREADY circles the globe! We've got our signs, countersigns, passwords and secret handshakes. The mythical "old boys network" is no longer mythical. It is REAL, and feminism made it possible by making the growth of it predictably inevitable!
And for that, we owe feminism a debt of gratitude. Two cheers for feminism! Hip-hip-hurrah! Hip-hip-hurrah!

The only problem I might have with the "silent conspiracy" is men have been silent in response to feminism over the past 50 years, and things have gotten progressively worse and worse. This leads me to think that Silence = Submission. MRA blogs actually represent the first articulated written response to the hateful accusations of feminists. If you look at publications from the 60s through to the 90s, there is practically nothing .
I think there is an awful lot to be said for being vocal, public and visible. After all, the women's/feminist movement is all of those things, and it is the most successful civil agitation movement in history. You see, when go public, your views become part of the atmosphere, injected into the collective consciousness. They become difficult to retract or deny.
If we MRAs are a silent conspiracy, then feminism is on the other end of the spectrum, whose opinions saturate society, it's a public conspiracy. A very open, explicit declaration of war issued by multitudes of supporters. Given the relative power of MRAs and feminists in the direction of world politics, I question whether maintaining silence is advisable.
What I would find heartening, though, is that men in their private thoughts are clued in. How to get them to overcome political correctness and social convention to make their indignation public is the question. A silenced group, I think, is always easy to defeat.

If it wasn't for the fact that we have the Internet at our disposable, it would not be so inevitable. Look at TV, radio, the newspapers: has anything changed? No. Men are still undefended and women are still untouchable.
Look at politicians, has their pandering and gender politics ceased? Nope. Do father's rights issues and serious Constitutional concerns e.g. the VAWA, DV law get an airing in parliament? Nope.
The only thing that has changed is that a media formed which women/feminists cannot control. That is, of course, the Internet. Without it, the men's rights mentality, our advocacy and statistics would likely be put into total invisibility. The number of enlightened minds would be far fewer. Even still, is no other channel which dispenses the truth on men's rights concerns.
We are indeed dependent on the Internet for our existence and growth.
@MRN #1: Okay, so I was being a tad too "metaphysical" there, upon the theme of "silence". I tend to do such things. Bad, bad me...! ;-)

@MRN #2: Actually, with the growth of feminism and its percolations into our lives, the growth of oppositional energy (eventually, in SOME form) was a foregone conclusion. It was bound to happen one way or the other - it was a situation where "something had to give".
True, things have gotten worse and worse. But historically, when things get "bad enough", they always reach a threshhold where something kicks over. One way or another. It's hard to say exactly what form this would take, but it WOULD eventually happen, with or without the internet. Technology has evolved and grown, but human nature and the laws which govern it, are ever and always unchanging. As are the patterns and cycles which history tends to follow.
But no doubt, the internet IS way cooool! Yep!
And we need to wean ourselves away from it, too.... :(
All movements, and the feminist movement is no exception, are their own worst enemy. Feminists have begun to breathe their own fumes and have created a climate of acceptable extremism. This has given rise to the men's movement. It is now patently obvious to men worldwide that feminists mean to destroy them, and enjoy the prospect of doing so. Their extremes push men off the fence (or off the "lurk").
So it has been, and so it shall be.
Feminists are deathly afraid of the extent of the non-feminist movement. They're like fugitives in a car chase knowing that those blaring sirens are eventually going to catch up with them.
This is why I think When Hillary plants her derriaire on her throne, the democrats will pass an internet censoring bill ASAP.
MRA blogs will then have to move to paid sites. We all should backup our content immediately.

@Davout: That "internet censorsing bill" - I wonder what it might consist of. What might the criteria be?
For myself, I feel confident enough in my powers of verbal acuity and irony and finesse and double-entendre and all of that... that I can speak with impunity and make my mind perfectly plain and yet slip clear of their filters!
However, to be frank, I am not equally confident that all of those MRAs out there are on the same par - or if they can even learn. :-(

I have no doubts that you will survive a feminist crackdown.
However, one must not feel they have to change their writing styles in order to comply with the Big Sister approved word list.
To wit, recently some New York councillor tried making usage of the word 'bitch' into a hate crime. To the best of my knowledge, she failed but who knows when and where someone else might pull something similar and succeed.

Agreed. 200%. I didn't mean to give the impression that I thought otherwise! ;)
The funny thing about banning words is that it's futile: language is constantly changing and growing, and people will soon find new ways to say those forbidden things!
For example, I could just write b!tch, or b*tch, or b#tch, or "female dog". Or I could dip into a foreign language, e.g. "garce", which is a French equivalent. The possibilities are endless!
The feminists have a very odd, quixotic relationship with the word "bitch". I wouldn't really call that word sexist - it's more of a generic insult directed against somebody who merely HAPPENS to be female. Normal, decent, middle-of-the-road women use this word all the time ("Oh, she's such a bitch!") - they see nothing wrong with it! Oh, but teh feminists teh HATE it, with a passion!!!
The femmeroids have also engaged in a perverse campaign to "reclaim" the word and make it into something "empowering". Last I looked, that campaign was going absolutely nowhere, nohow, what-so-friggin-ever!
They might as learn to live with it: a bitch is a bitch is a bitch is a BITCH! And a bitch is universally and objectively not a good thing to be. And never will be, in ANY possible world!

But ya know...largely speaking, I agree with what she is saying. And it mightn't be a bad thing atall if a goodly number of women would take her advice.

Around 2005/2006, T-shirts like this or this one were in fashion here in Germany (also in the UK). Must have been part of the femmeroids' campaign you've mentioned, fidelbogen... ;-) I haven't seen the T-shirts for a while now.

Men and their feelings: In my experience women find men showing their feelings a bit irritating. Not sure why that is so though.
Ok I'm curious: Is it true what bedienutza says about American grocery stores? She writes : "I went into stores and did not find any fruit / vegetable available. Food grows in America in cans and plastic bags..."
The fruit- and vegetable departments in European grocery stores typically look like in this photo. Of course you can also get fruits and vegetables in cans and plastic bags, but that's not so popular.
Michael, no we have fresh fruit here. I don't know what kind of store she went in to. The picture you showed is typical of a large American grocery store as well...
I don't know where Bedienutza was searching for food, but that is absolutely not true. Most supermarkets in the USA sell fresh fruits and vegetables.

I am one of those "silent men". Long before I found the men's rights movement, I decided to "go my own way." Ultimately, I think that women will run the show, because we will all be MGTOW. And ultimately, I think that most men, most "silent men," will be the reason that women practically beg us to retake the reigns....
The men's movement will be Censored, it has to happen, the feminists hate another voice other than theirs. I believe that is a good thing for MRA's. It might finally get a lot more men involved and women that are not feminists. Regarding MRA's that use ??? questionable language, well I for one are one of those men. There are all kinds of reasons why men join the movement, some sip their coffee and ponder the plight of men and then go back to their bachelor pad and type out some blog post deep in meaning. That is just fine and even greatly needed.
Then there are men like myself that have lived this nightmere first hand, jailed for no reason, kids stolen over $ 250,000.00 in assets stolen by the wife and the femcourts. Guys like me take the bus home to their gross little crap hole because they are broke at payday. I get a great idea about a post, I sit down and start to write it out and by the end I'm cursing and swearing and ready to kill. I won't , don't worry. My point is it takes all kinds. Insightful points from someone like Fidel and others and nutbars like me raging against the machine. All point of views are welcome in my view and greatly needed. So hats off to everyone in this movement. We are all on the same side here. PS I will never change my style, its how I choose to approuch this when I lost my kids. If need be I will spray paint it on family court walls if I'm kicked off the net. Hazzah

While engaged in business this year. I was shocked to learn how many Executives, CEOs have married Foreign Women. Their second happy marriage to Women from Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe.
Younger pretty,feminine,sweet,agreeable and now well provided for Foreign Women. It has gotten so bad in the US that NOW pushed through IMBRA to keep American Men in bed with American Women. And American Men are still saying NO.
Tyra Banks a shill for the FemNags did a show on this topic on her syndicated talk show. She is a model married to a NBA Basketball Player. A younger Oprah if you will. And it dripped of Misandry and hatred of Foreign Women.

Yeah, I am painfully aware of that Jeff Fecke creature. We talked some shit about him on an earlier thread here - I forget which. I saved JF's thread for future archival analysis. What I see happening is, that the other side is shifting their ground ever-so-slightly in order to get themselves into a stronger defensive posture without SEEMING to go on the defensive. However, it is evident to my superlatively keen eye that the strain is beginning to tell upon them! ;-)
