It is the head of Foulon, stuck on a pike, being paraded through the streets of Paris.

Interesting. I found this link on it.

So these were the working class opposing the rich class.

Check this out.

Thanks for this. This was an easy article to write.

The strangest thing is that I am not religious much. And that I don't have a political agenda.

I can't wait till I am able to let go of my sons with confidence. I have heard from so many parents how pathetic life has become in NZ. How pathetic the feminist agenda now is that I have to start meetings all over the place. Just to let parents let off steam.

Check this out too.

I hope these links are coming through OK. And I hope you don't mind me sharing this.

I need to balance my time with study and work and family but I can't help myself to care for the generations to come.

Thank-you for inspiring me. Now if only I could give you something back. Maybe this will do. (smile)

Has a modern-day analogue similarly fallen?

@egghead: No modern-day analogue, to my knowledge, but. . .

the image serves as a timeless emblem, and. . .

a WARNING.

N'est-ce pas? ;)

@Julie: Thank you for sharing the links.

One problem, though. I have not published your other comment BECAUSE. . .

You supplied a very, very LONG web address all on one line, and on Blogger that does horrible things with the formatting - it would cut all the way across the page and over the top of the link bar.

Just for future reference, it is a good practice to use tinyurl.com to make long URLs short. :)
