Look! Another Counter-Feminist!

Porky the Counter-Feminist pig. That is what the blogmaster calls himself. And look at the URL of his blog, which is: http://counterfeminism.info/

The blogmaster seems to be Australian. I think you will find his blog witty, sarcastic, and fun to read.

Hmmmm!. . .Now I'm just waiting for him to become a hardcore counter-feminist, who can sling the jargon. You know, toss around stuff like femplex, or perpetual revolution, or feminist subjectivism, or feminist worldview, or anti-male politics, or ecumenical human condition, or or disaffection spectrum, or Real Feminismâ„¢, or non-feminism, or NF sector, or duluthosphere, or rhetorical discipline, etc. . . etc . . . etc.

About half an hour ago, as I was reading Porky's blog, I was made aware for the first time that Marilyn French, of "all men are rapists" fame, has bit the dirt and gone to whatever circle of Dante's Inferno people like her get sent to. Well, de mortius nil nisi bonum and all o' that, but here is the story:

Just a quick note to say thanks for the kind words about my blog. This also gives me an opportunity to acknowledge that you, Fidelbogen, are the guy i got the term counter-feminist from - credit where credit is due. Although i am fairly new to this kind of thing my "manager" Michael Claymore spent over a year duking it out at Glennsacks.com under his own name as well as the monikers Nelson and Darkness Rising. I guess you could say Michael is my Barry Humphreys and i'm his Dame Edna.Either that or i'm Jekyll and he's Hyde.

Thanks for dropping by, Porks! :)

I've always felt that counter-feminist is more difficult to counter than "anti-feminist".

Non-feminist was the next stage in that revolution, I suppose. . .

Yes, i see the term counter-feminist as being more media friendly than anti-feminist, that's why i latched on to it. Anti anything sounds negative, hence the abortion debate being dominated by the terms PRO-life and PRO-choice.

Yup. Plus the fact that anti-feminist is too easy to conflate with anti-woman. . . whereas counter-feminist puts a roadblock in such a mental process.

I've always had grand ambitions for "counter-feminism". I surely have written about it plenty. . . ;)

Oh, that reminds me:

Pro-male.And. . . male-friendly.
