- Podcasts Continued
Here, I link you to the second and third parts of the podcast series ( by Amfortas and Christian J ) whose first part I shared in a recent post:

Three other sources of ‘official’ data which are routinely manipulated and presented to support DV lies are analysed by Amfortas and compared to Independent University research which completely contradicts the ‘official message’. "It would be generous to think that this manipulation and bias was just the result of incompetence. But as we can see there is something far darker behind it. It is corruption. It is deliberate."

Christian J narrates how the 2006 Australian Bureau of Statistics Personal Safety Survey completely contradicted the Government’s 1996 survey. He also points to the attempts by feminist bureaucrats to manipulate by having ONLY female interviewers to bias the results. Results show women twice as safe as men. The Government has thrown a blanket of silence over it. Feminists maintain an undemocratic stranglehold, expropriating public monies for their anti-male ‘Industry’.

To paraphrase Karl Jaspers:
An ideology is a complex of ideas or notions which represents itself to the thinker as an absolute truth for the interpretation of the world and her situation within it; it leads the thinker to accomplish an act of self-deception for the purpose of justification, obfuscation and evasion in some sense or other to her advantage.

Y'know, it's funny, but I do believe I have been a "Jasperite" for most of my life.
It's hard to think of very many people who don't at least loosely fit that paraphrased profile you have given.
And in a way, it serves them well because are always sure of themselves. And always being sure of themselves, they always have something to say. And. . always having something to say, they always sound "smarter" than the silenced simpletons whose awareness of the world's paradoxical, provisional nature sits heavily upon them like a suffocating blanket of humility.
:(
Always to be right, always to trample forward, and never to doubt. Are not these the great qualities with which dullness takes the lead in the world?

Hi Fidelbogen,
You and I and Jaspers are akin to Philosophical Pragmatists in our distaste for ideologues.
Philosophical Pragmatists?
Hmmm. Let's think. . .
Ah yes!
