CF Podcast: The Second
Casting the pod again!
This one ignores conventional podcrafting wisdom, for it is a bloated monster that runs nearly half an hour! And it sounds rather like a university lecture. . .
Conventional wisdom says: "keep it brief, punchy, and above all easy to follow". Well, this podcast is undoubtedly not those first two things, and arguably not the third, either—but I guess that depends on the listener. Oh all right, so this is aimed at a niche market! A market composed of 33rd-degree counter-feminist technicians and troublemakers, or random web-surfers who are potentially such people! ;)
Like most of the material posted on this blog, this is political dynamite—albeit slow motion dynamite, whose efficacy depends on putting it in the hands of people who not only know that it IS dynamite, but also WHY it is dynamite . . . and how to blow things up with it!
And so, I cast my pod upon the waters. . .

Future productions will follow the brief-punchy-easy formula, but right now, I need to get a few things out of my system! ;)
By the way, this podcast has some music on it, so I reckon that makes it a tad bit zesty at any rate, eh?

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!
Tis a very sad state of affairs and you explained it perfectly. IMHO
I especially enjoyed listening to you because (1) you have a voice that is likeable and (2) this is just what I needed clarified today. BTW, the time just flew by.
This is rather interesting.

Hey, if someone makes this into something you can post on other sites, I will be interested in sharing it around.
Hi F, I have something to add to your podcast.
Some time ago I was at an older feminist's home and the discussion came up about women and men. She said that women will be voting for women when women are 50% of the government and that men will have to vote for men for their own voice.
It was kinda funny that my mind went back to another feminist whose work I was at and she talked about how the other political feminists had asked her to stand as a politician and how she sat in a number of politician debates before she made her mind up whether to go into that work for the benefit of feminism.
For her it would have been a demotion because she already makes more money in her work as a researcher and speaker than a politician.
But she said to me that her decision to say 'no' was based on the fact men won't argue back. She said, "Men are boring in politics".
But your not! ;)
"She said that women will be voting for women when women are 50% of the government and that men will have to vote for men for their own voice."
Yup. I have always said that men and women are now separate political interest groups due to feminist innovation - which has mutated society so that men and women are forced to compete with each other.
And yet it is gratifying, in a strange way, to hear this confirmed from the mouth of an actual feminist!
I think that one of the reasons MRAs have difficulty being a political force is that, being men, they are naturally averse to competing with women, even when it's imperative to their vital interest that they do so! For it goes DEEPLY against the grain of human nature for men to compete with women. . .
And yet, making men and women "equal" (to borrow a feminist expression) leads to exactly that situation. That is all it ever COULD lead to!
Feminism itself is nothing more than a women's political lobby AT BEST.
And at worst. . . it is an anti-male hate movement - which of course, we already knew.
So at this point in time, any male person who would willingly *support* feminism, or defend it in any way, is. . . a fool.
One of the ugly developments which I can foresee (and maybe not so far down the road!) is that a lot of men will INDEED decide to compete with women - and they will do this very well, and very very ruthlessly!
It can only lead from ugly to uglier.
And that is exactly what the feminists want to see happen.
Because . . it will offer them an excuse to escalate their war against men, and grab more power for themselves in the process.
And then distribute some of the benefits to women in general - in order to cement their loyalty, and consolidate the feminist hold over men.
Specifically, over men who challenge feminism - such as MRAs.
MRAs are becoming a kind of 'lightning rod' . . .
(I should blog or pod about that!)
Which leads me to another thought: maybe MRAs should just quit being MRAs, (or at least pretend to do this). That way, ALL men would become the lightning rod again - which would force them to wake up to their situation.
I think that one of the reasons MRAs have difficulty being a political force is that, being men, they are naturally averse to competing with women, even when it's imperative to their vital interest that they do so! For it goes DEEPLY against the grain of human nature for men to compete with women. . .
Not just that but when men stand up to say something they are shut down with words like, "You are a woman hater".
It makes perfect sense that women want to take over when they say, "Men will have their own voice but they can only say something supportive to us".
And yet, making men and women "equal" (to borrow a feminist expression) leads to exactly that situation. That is all it ever COULD lead to!
That sounds like the opposite to what feminism was doing by making co-ed schooling and co-ed jobs.
How can bringing men and women together and then separating them achieve something positive?
