Jenn Redux. Or, MRAs Took a
Crap On Her Blog!

I think it is a fair bet that many current CF readers are not up to speed about things that happened four months ago. If such be your own case, you ought to acquaint yourself with the following—and if you are an ardent foe of feminism, then, trust me, it is worth your while. Read the below-linked CF post and all comments attached to it, but even more importantly, follow the featured link to the feminist blog. At the feminist blog, you may or may not chose to read the actual post in question, but it is imperative you study the comment thread with a keen eye. It shall be a great profit to you. Kindly read it, and then return:

Go and See How it's Done

Very well, you are back? Good. So now, if you please, I will share more of the back-story. The "XXBlaze" blog which you have recently visited is published by a certain "Jenn", and Jenn and myself are old friends from waaay back, you might say! ;) Indeed, I have 'zapped' her (with my cabal of MRA hooligans) two times in the last two years, and I am about to do it again!

My first Jenn-zapping was waaay back in mid-2008—before Jenn started her own blog. Jenn (a "fat radical feminist lesbian"—her words!) was and maybe still is a contributing writer to a feminist blog called Female Impersonator. On that blog (in mid-2008) Jenn wrote a very assinine post about MRAs, and I tweaked her nose for it. At that time, she went by "Jen" rather than "Jenn", but she added the extra 'n' shortly thereafter. Very well, go now to the following:

http://counterfem.blogspot.com/2008/07/another-feminist-mra-expert.html

All right, back to January 2010. I stumbled upon that particular XXBlaze post in the process of digging around and studying mine enemy—you know, one link leads to another—and if Jenn doesn't want MRAs stumbling upon her old blog posts and possibly hanging them in the breeze to twirl like old ripe laundry, well then, why the hell doesn't she delete them? I know it troubles ME not a hair if people read stuff in my archives from 2 or 3 years ago, and leave comments there! It would never occur to me to call such an action "cowardly", so what the hell is Jenn's problem? Another piece of feminist parochialism, or was she simply inventing an "issue" out of thin air?

After I posted the January CF post, a great rush of CF readers went yonder, to Jenn's blog, to witness the wizardry of the now legendary "D". The word of this spread like wildfire in MRA land—we've got a pretty amazing 'bush telegraph'! CF is mirrored in a bunch of different places, and the link was re-posted quite a bit, so within 24 hours Jenn received a glut of MRA commenters on her old, forgotten post. Plus, who knows how many silent visitors. And for several days afterward, Jenn regularly returned to CF to check out what my commenters were saying.

And that brings us up to the present. Just. . yesterday, I think it was, I was burrowing around in cyberspace in my usual serendipitous way, and I happened upon the following post on Jenn's blog—from, yes indeed, January 2010, not long after I posted "Go and See How It's Done". I'm sure the following title will capture your interest right off the block, and if it doesn't, then, as the saying goes, "I don't know Arkansas":

MRAs took a crap on my blog

Well. Jenn quotes and responds to you, John Dias. And you, Karl. And you, Factory. And several others. Yes, at least twenty putative MRAs went to Jenn's blog at my instigation. And left comments there too—although not at my instigation. (I only wanted them to "read 'em and reap".)

So, what was Jenn to do? Her little D-gate scandal was all the buzz in MRA land, and the comment thread was massively archived in the MRM library. She could have just ignored it all; she could have just blown it off. But no. . . she felt driven to respond, and went to a fair bit of trouble to write what she wrote.

And what did Jenn write? To be honest, nothing of interest. Her responses were weak, puerile, evasionary, obfuscatory, and largely irrelevant—consisting in the main of huffy feminist dogmas mingled with flip-sounding insults that were clearly meant to come across as witty and devil-may-care. But in fact, the whole production sounds like she is merely saving face. After all, she couldn't merely delete or alter the original post where 'D' appears—not after the MRAs had seen it and widely archived it; her reasons for doing so would have been transparent to all the world. So yes, one gathers that Jenn is quite sensitive to non-feminist opinion. Furthermore, the eight comments left on the post—all by apparent feminists—had the ambience of a communal reinforcement huddle.

I would suggest that the referenced post be archived—and indeed I have already done this myself. Meanwhile, Jenn is certainly ever so much more than welcome to take a crap on my blog. I mean, hey, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go, right? I'm fine with that. And I know damn well that my cabal of Freddy Krueger-style MRA hooligans would be tickled witless to watch the fat radical feminist lesbian taking a crap. I aim to please my constituency! ;}

I posted comments that were nothing short of direct challenges. I even challeged them to ban me, Robert, if they are misandrists. Since feminists and their ilk despise being forced to admit misandry, let's see what they do. Feminists and their ilk love to call men weak. Let's see how they repond to a male being blatantly bold , not arrogant, without using their shaming language or archaic narratives to open a dialogue of real sensible reason.

I believe men cab be as bold, brash as they desire. I'm not yet sure of being sassy, as it is for children and women to sass authority. What do you think?

I wonder if anyone who responded to D realized how much rope they provided anyone to hang them with?

God I love when stuff like this happens. :)

I have to say, this whole group of threads has been a fun (re)read... these people really are maroons.

A "thread of fear" among MRAs?

I giggle like a schoolgirl at THAT notion. Far from fearful, the MRM is growing by leaps and bounds, with ever-increasing public endorsement of MRA ideals and concerns.

Two things Feminism most definitely can NOT say about itself (if movements were...you know, capable of speaking).

I had forgotten that I ever posted a comment there (under "Mike"). Now reading her pitiable reply, I must say I feel a bit embarrassed that it was so easy to win that little discussion on the appropriate use of the word "whore". After all, English is her mother tongue, not mine.

Regarding my "feminism is a cult" statement: Is it worth pointing out to her that the cult value of feminism lies in the "like-mindedness" of its followers, and that the definition of "cult" doesn't necessarily involve paying dues, nor the necessity of "Grand Masters"? I think not. ;-)

I think that the definition of "sassy" is a bit fluid, but. . . if it floats your boat more effectively, consider the term "cheeky".

And I am all for men being blatantly bold and brash (and maybe just a touch arrogant if that's what it takes!), and I think there is an art to this - meaning, a better and a worse way of doing it.

Dr. Fidelbogen PhD., are you familiar with the giant red hornet in Japan?

Imagine Agents of counter-feminist change using the same tactics.

Giant hornets of Japan. I do not want to get cozy with them.

What "tactics" do these bugs employ. . . . ?

@Anon:

As for hornet tactics, I guess that depends on what kind of "sting" would translate into political terms among humans fighting a propaganda war.

Which is essentially the war we are fighting...

I find it hilarious how they complain about how MRA's have the same replies, comments, arguments, etc...There's no creativity, nothing new.

Compared to their postings, theirs is, what? Differentiated by whatever emotional mood they are in, or whatever tack they think will convince their following at the moment? or whatever vapid, or vulgar curse ridden dialogue happens to fill the void in their head when they read our stuff? If there is one thing one can count on with their arguments it is this ridiculous bitterness towards men, this hyping up of the victim status, and their emotionally lead, illogical reasonings.

I hate reading their stuff though, because than I think they have a reasonably sized following, and in a certain way, I despair and think, our society is so screwed. If that is our future... God help us all.

Possibly because dogs seem more like. . men?

Also because, being starved for affection, they are naturally delighted by soft, fluffy creatures that purrrr and rub against them.

There is a certain breed of cat, known as Russian Blue, that is purely amazing. They are basically a more relaxed version of a Siamese, but they have that same dog-like personality. And they will actually follow you around like a dog!

If I were in the market for a cat, Russian Blue it would be, for sure!

Cats have a very different nature than dogs but I wouldn't exactly describe them as soft and fluffy creatures who love to cuddle. Maybe for five minutes a day or so but most cats are fiercely independant and love the thrill of the hunt. They have a streak of viciousness as in even my well-fed cat will bring freshly caught lizards and gophers and birds to the door. She's not hungry. It's just fun to kill.
Anyone starved for attention be they male or female would do better with a dog. Dogs slavishly follow you around and adore you at all times under any circumstances. Cats can take you or leave you.
