Golden Opportunity for Intellectual Plundering
Sage Journals Online, publisher of academic articles from many fields of study, is once more up for grabs. They periodically make this opportunity available, for promotional purposes. To discover what I am talking about, go HERE:
http://tinyurl.com/296yntg
Now, I don't know what your exact interests are, but you might want to dig around under such headings as "gender studies", "women's studies", "maculinities", "feminism", and "feminist criminology". You might be surprised at the high academic radical feminist "dirt" you will find. (Did you know that they "lens" people like us in criminological terms?)
Give it a go! You have until 15 Oct 2010 to snarf up as many PDF files as you can stuff on your hard drive, thumb drive, CD-rom, or whatever.
Remember that feminist academia is the primary wellspring from whence the poison flows. They make up their shit in obscure university departments, and from there they drip-feed it slowly, through various channels, into the culture at large. So, here is your chance to gather evidence of what's coming down the pike, or -- since you can get material from as far back as 1999 -- your chance to gather retrospective evidence of things that have already been fed into the culture.
Make like farmers, thresh that grain, and gather it into the silo.

I think you are big on the "know your enemy" thing, but how is it efficacious to expose yourself to the ever growing (and morphing) arguments of the feminists? We know they are wrong, have been wrong from inception, and that every new thing will also be wrong and detrimental to society. It's meant as an honest question, not a criticism. The only reason I can think of (which would be one good reason, just wondering if there are others) is to know what they have planned politically for males, as then it's not just theory or rhetoric, it's action and we can guarantee this action will hurt men in general somehow.
Thankyou, Fidelbogen.
I will get right on with the plundering.
As I have hinted at before, I have big plans in the works, and have done for quite some time.
This will help a lot.

Y'know, it's funny, but I actually find myself AGREEING with some feminists, some of the time, about some things. But as a rule, I will have arrived at my conclusion for completely independent (non-feminist) reasons -- even "patriarchal" reasons!
What I object to, most strenuously and primarily, is feminism as a whole, as a social-cultural-political ORGANISM.
That is exactly what it is: an organism. Or if you prefer, compare it to a machine, such as your car. The point is, it is a system with many separate parts which sometimes seem unrelated or even contradictory, but in reality work together toward a very simple goal: "empowerment" of (feminist) women, along with everything which might predictably unfold from that.
Anyhow, you are correct. I am big on the "know your enemy" thing. And, as the header of this blog might suggest, I am also big on the "make your friends and all the rest of the world know your enemy too" thing. (Because I want to feed the political genius of others, hence, I make fodder available.)
So, I guess that is why I am keen upon gathering such knowledge. That, along with the reasons you have proffered.
Plus, it helps to know about some of these things if you want to keep your rhetoric cutting-edge.
"As I have hinted at before, I have big plans in the works, and have done for quite some time."
Ahh. . such energy you have!
The most I can boast in the way of a 'big plan' at the moment, is the idea of "hibernating" for a few months in order to write a BOOK. A hundred cram-packed pages or so, freely distributed on PDF. . .
"Y'know, it's funny, but I actually find myself AGREEING with some feminists, some of the time, about some things"
From my brief survey of a few articles so far, I find myself agreeing occasionally too - the thing is, the things that I agree with are nothing more than commonplaces that it would be difficult to argue against.
It is that they use these obvious truths to make rather suspect inferences!
And as you say, the obvious truths from which they begin, need not be arrived at through feminist means.

Like what? (He asked out of sheer curiosity).
"Like what? (He asked out of sheer curiosity)."
Oh. . like a feminist and I would agree it is not good to be a rapist. That kind of thing. But of course, we would disagree on the details of what rape is or isn't, and what can or should be done about it.
That was an easy example. Now something a bit more arcane. Let's say, that some guy puts up a poster of a semi-naked woman on the workplace wall. The feminist and I would both rather see that picture gone, but for completely different reasons.
The feminist would say, that it 'objectifies women' or creates a 'hostile workplace environment'.
But I would say, that that it promotes female supremacism (feminism) by turning the workplace into a temple of pussy worship.
Yes, that is the main reason that so many men like to display such images on walls, etc. Far from "degrading" women, they are in fact turning them into goddesses, and proving just how deeply women do in fact dominate their lives, their minds, their spirits, their entire psychology.
I am surprised that more feminists don't realize this. But I'm sure that if they ever caught on to this, then THEY would be the ones to stick those pictures on the wall (a more artsy, "lesbian" equivalent, anyway), and MRAs would be the ones demanding their removal.
Hmmm. As always, you are quite interesting.
The whole feminist argument "degrading to women", "objectifying women", and many others...
I believe are simply rouses.
That is, as you suggest - what a feminist considers "degrading to women" is in fact degrading to men.
What a woman considers "exploitation of women" (prostitutes, topless dancers) is in fact the exploitation of men. The men pay, the women get paid. This can only mean that the MEN are being exploited.
"Marriage is the enslavement of women" - this is the most laughable one. Marriage is the enslavement of men - always has been. Men have always lost more from divorce than women (at least for the most part).
I would say that all these feminist sayings are in fact rouses - designed to get attention away from the real "goings on".
You agree with the ends - but not the means.
I would say that is not agreeing.
No offense.
"I am surprised that more feminists don't realize this. But I'm sure that if they ever caught on to this, then THEY would be the ones to stick those pictures on the wall (a more artsy, "lesbian" equivalent, anyway), and MRAs would be the ones demanding their removal."
They don't stick pictures up, Fidelbogen - they embody it instead.
I think this is a core tenet of third wave feminism.
As you know, they speak in euphemism. And 'empowerment through the embrace of sexuality' really means exactly what you described.
Dressing and acting so as to provoke natural urges with the intended response that a man becomes a 'pussy worshipper'. Manipulation of men for money, attention, ego-boosting, legislation, etc., being the aim.
"Dressing and acting so as to provoke natural urges with the intended response that a man becomes a 'pussy worshipper'. Manipulation of men for money, attention, ego-boosting, legislation, etc., being the aim."
Ahhh....that was sharp of you to mention legislation! I've got to admit, that one had never occurred to me.
And hey, it mixes the personal with the political, wot?
"Marriage is the enslavement of men - always has been."
Except, in recent times, they have been upping the ante like hell.
@Fidelbogen:
"Except in recent times, they have been upping the ante like hell."
Eh?
@ScareCrow:
Yeah.
We all know about the CURRENT state of "holy matrimony". Worse than ever. Which is why there is a marriage strike and all o' that. . .
Ah yes, the marriage strike.
Obama is combating this though.
He just released 500,000 bachelors from the emergency bachelor reserve - located in a bunker somewhere underground.

lol
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but someone has to -
The Onion is a parody news site.
To be fair, it's fooled a good few people in its time.
@Snark.
I know, I was being a pinch humorous...
(How could anybody believe there is a bachelor reserve somewhere in this country where they just train men to have perfect abs, give foot-rubs, and recognize new hair-styles)...
I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer - but come on - give me a little credit!!!
Apologies ScareCrow - I didn't actually follow the link so didn't see the parts you just mentioned - only the description you gave before.
@Snark.
You are the man!
