Men's Network in Sweden - Can You
Believe THAT?

I am informed by a Swedish correspondent, that a "men's network" has recently sprung to life in Sweden. That's right, Sweden! By all accounts the most radically man-hating and feminazi country on all of planet earth!

Mind you, my Swedish correspondent is not one to mince words about Swedish feminism -- especially not when talking to a foreigner like me! By contrast, the Mansnatverket website, as you will observe, is bland, conciliatory and utterly vanilla -- almost supinely so! But I reckon they know what they are doing in a country like Sweden; they surely know they are travelling in a mine field, and that if they want to gain any distance whatsoever they must tiptoe through the tulips. Well, for the present, anyway. We'll see later if Swedish men throw the mask off! ;)

The remarkable thing is that such a group is forming at all in a country like Sweden. But the fact that such a group is forming right now is an especially telling sign alongside all the other pro-male activity that is springing to life in so many other countries.

I have talked to a few men from Sweden - all the ones I spoke to are very very angry.

You are not even allowed to pee standing up because "you are exhibiting male dominance" if you do.

Also, not calling a woman the next day - constitutes rape.

Yeah, Sweden is a mess - and it has obviously produced some very angry men.

Their nicks are even scary....

Neat! I know a Swedish person on a forum I visit that is loathe to admit that feminism could be badwrong on some issues.

Yikes. There is a report statistic (I was unable to open) on the Swedish Men's site that was stated the average man transfers $1,000,000 to the average woman in his lifetime. BTW, your article today at AVfM was great.

For four years I have been trying to create a men's network here in the U.S. by visiting male-friendly blogs and posting links to other male-friendly blogs.

I would have thought Sweden the first place to find such a movement, actually.

Every action has a reaction. Sweden has a hell of a feminist "action".

Of course, if it's established enough the resistance has to go underground. So what's remarkable is that it's public. I wonder how much of this new movement is a "tip of the iceberg".

Well, if it is visible, I reckon ALL of it is. So the question becomes, how much of the iceberg is below the waterline.

From what I think I know about Sweden, I'd have to say quite a bit. It doesn't quite make sense, to me at least, that the visible action is merely "floating on the surface" like a boat or raft.
