A YouTube That You Must Watch
Here is another offering for the sunlight of the world's gaze. Newcomers and counter-feminist proselytes will find this to be a powerful piece of the puzzle. Enough of these pieces will add up to a full picture of the feminist elephant -- which we must learn to see in its entirety. We don't want to be groping blind men, do we?
Now I will treat you to some of the comments which followed this video on the YouTube channel:
If you haven't already done so, or even if you have already done so, go take a look at the Swedish documentary which I blogged about a few days ago. Do this while all of the above is still fresh in your memory. For if you wish to truly "see" feminism, you must place certain things side-by-side in your mind so that their organic linkage to each other becomes increasingly difficult to overlook:

Now I will treat you to some of the comments which followed this video on the YouTube channel:
"Robert Connell is still a man. A mutilated mentally ill man to be sure but a man none the less. Connell's notion that he is suddenly female because of surgical intervention, hormone therapy and having his beard removed via electrolysis is so absurd that it beyond my ability to understand the depth of his mental disorder. "Finally, I will treat you to my own words, left as a comment on an article which Hugo Schwyzer published at the Good Men Project website. And no, somehow I don't feel like linking to it. But suffice to say that the article was smug, tendentious, patronizing, pontificating and willfully ignorant:
------------------
"Any person who labels herself a "feminist" is participating in the longstanding anti-male agenda of feminism. Regardless of her individual take on what she or he thinks is feminism, they are lending their name to an institution which has scapegoated all males as the wellspring of all women's problems. If I call myself a Nazi because I want to help people in Appalachia no one will care about my philanthropy. The same should apply for feminists."
-----------------
"If I wanted help, I would not seek help from a masculinity expert who cuts their penis off because they hate being male. It's a wonder why they still pronounce him/her to be a masculinity expert even after this....transformation."
"Hugo Schwyzer has absolutely NO authority to pontificate on the subject of “why guys don’t want to get married”. And don’t you believe for one minute, that he doesn’t know what’s happening. He is being willfully obtuse, selling out normal men everywhere, and poisoning the minds of young people with feminist indoctrination.Mind you, I don't believe for one minute that Hugo Schwyzer has "gender identity disorder" like Robert/Raewyn Connell. I am sure that Hugo has no intention of cutting off his schvanze in order to express his deep-seated contempt for men and maleness. I think that Hugo's problem stems from a rather different source, more connected with his adolescent life experience. And yet, I very readily discern the pragmatic socio-political continuum that links people like Schwyzer with people like Connell. They are part of the same device, the same "conspiracy" if you will. And by their conjoined efforts, they are driving the world toward the same end of the field, if not the identical goalpost.
"Schwyzer is pissing in the face of the whole male population when he writes this kind of garbage.
"The MRAs have been explaining for YEARS why men don’t want to get married. All you must do, is listen. It is not at all hard to figure out. So again, that is why I say that Hugo Schwyzer and people like him are being willfully obtuse: they are pretending not to get it. But deep in their guts they know perfectly well what is really happening. And they are cashing in, building their parasitical careers at the expense of truth, upon a foundation of human misery. At the same time, they are helping to multiply that misery — stashing more and more psychopolitical gunpowder and petrol in the societal basement, toward a catastrophic explosion that cannot fail to occur sooner or later. Yes, truth has a funny way of working its way to the surface eventually. . .
"People like Schwyzer are self-loathing because they are loathsome. And deep in their guts they know this. But they project their self-loathing onto normal men, and try to suck as many of them into into the feminist ideological shithole as they possibly can. Misery loves company, and let me tell you, they are bound to get their wish because things are bound to get miserable as hell in the future.
"Hugo Schwyzer ought to be deeply ashamed for writing this article, but knowing him, I know that he is morally incapable of it."

Old news
I had an exchange with connell in 2010. Very strange dude (sorry- "dude-ette")!
Apparently he played a big role in the United Nations formulating global political approaches favouring women over men. Real misandric sh*t.
In 1997 he was instrumental in defeating the UN proposal to institute a global International Men's Day on the United Nations calendar. He apparently was the most aggressive at shouting the IMD proposal down: http://www.unesco.org/cpp/uk/projects/wcpbrochure2.html
everyone at that meeting was like connell, misandric assholes all.
Have you noticed Schwyzer's repeated attempts to paint virtually all men as pedophiles and as lusting after little girls? There's little doubt in my mind as to the personal projection going there. It's also smeared all over everything he writes. "If I have these feelings, all men must be like me! Masculinity is evil!"
Most male feminists have an unmistakable similarity to each other. I expect to see more "Kyle Payne" incidents arise in the future.

"I was. Who did you think?"
Oh, possibly for the vast number of people for whom it is new news.
Just wanted to make sure.
"Oh, possibly for the vast number of people for whom it is new news."
Wrong.
@Anon6:18:
Ahh..
Well, it is old news for me, too.
The news itself is old and has been circulating for a few years with a large proportion of stakeholders having heard about it. However as you say some have not.
What most will not know is that Connell was involved, in the mid to late 90s- in several united nations panels designed to set the world discourse on gender for the future. There were about 20 main players which included Kimmel too.
Unlike global democracies, the UN sets its agendas through the opinions of an elite few attending private UN forums. The 'people' have no say, but strangely, all democracies which sign up to UN mandates must abide by the loony policies of these few gender-disoriented architects.
"Most male feminists have an unmistakable similarity to each other. I expect to see more "Kyle Payne" incidents arise in the future."
I'm glad you mentioned Kyle Payne. I am disappointed that his name has not become a universal byword amongst MRAs everywhere, constantly popping up in conversations.
Here's another UN forum that 'Raewyn' (LoL) chaired: 'The Expert Group Meeting on Male Roles and Masculinities in the Perspective of a Culture of Peace'.

Another interesting fact is that the famed mangina misandrist Michael Flood was Connell's protege. Flood worships connell, and learnt his craft under Connell.
Amazing what havoc these rare twisted individuals have been able to blanket across the entire planet. They must have an intense concern about gender- thier own gender, that is.
@Anon:
The broad mass of people, men and women both, know as little of all this as they know about the theological controversies on Pluto. And even if they ~do~ know bits of it, the significance is lost on them if they don't know how to connect the dots. And they are the biggest "stakeholders" of all. Yeah, they have a stake in it. Funny too, because it is happening on earth, and not veiled in deepest, darkest secrecy. Whoever knows where to look, and how to dig, can dig it up.
Anyhow, it is up to the self-appointed alternative media to drip feed such information into the collective mind slowly, patiently, through an IV tube, drop by drop. . . . .
Of course, if they can get a bigger IV tube. . . that'd be smashing.
"The broad mass of people, men and women both, know as little of all this as they know about the theological controversies on Pluto."
Of course, who said different? You really state the obvious.
However, "stakeholders" in the men's movement -those people who stake thier entire lives and time working on male issues- many of these have long known about Connell's sex change.
Nobody was referring to the "broad mass of men and women" 9other than you in your last post) who would, of course, know nothing about Connell's sex change and in fact may not be interested.
Next time ask first what is meant be stakeholders if you want to be sure before you assume what is being referred to.
Drip-feed away, information never hurt anyone.
"However, "stakeholders" in the men's movement -those people who stake thier entire lives and time working on male issues- many of these have long known about Connell's sex change."
Fool. It was obviously not Connell's sex change that was being reported, which no one cares about, but the fact that others were talking about the likes of Connell and Kimmel, which is rare outside of a knowledgeable "inner circle" and this served as a segue for the author to talk about the obvious psychological issues these male feminists suffer from. Of course that is old news to us, but not to any new readers that may just be stumbling onto men's rights.
These issues must be talked about repeatedly, just as MRA's repeatedly have to debunk myths like the wage gap/discrimination connection (or non-connection) which continue to resurface.
Do not be so hasty to rebuke this man, he knows what he is doing.
I'm described as Connell's "protege" and as learning my craft under Connell. Not quite. Connell was at a different university. Sure, her work's been very influential, but I never had the honour of being her protege.
Cheers,
Michael Flood.
