Female Supremacism in Popular Culture -- "Who Run the World (Girls!)"
Even if you despise the stuff, popular culture is good for at least one thing: it monitors the state of the zeitgeist and provides a core sample of the mass psychology. And it can even, just maybe, foretell the future as a barometer can foretell the weather.
The following music video by the popular singer Beyonce Knowles bears witness to the existence and present thriving condition of female supremacism in our society. Stuff like this doesn't simply appear out of a vacuum for no reason. No, stuff like this tells you that "something's cookin'." Watch it closely several times and make note of the embedded narratives, metanarratives, messages and symbols. I will not host the video here, but send you over to YouTube:

This little movie makes fine ammunition against earnest nitwits who twitter oh-so-earnestly that "feminism is not a zero sum game." I don't know about you, but I don't take it kindly when people insult my intelligence. Seriously, how the hell could female supremacism ever NOT be a zero sum game??
After you have digested the video, go and download the following:

"136 pages of conversation about Female Supremacy, and the future of men in society. Most of the women believe in the "natural superiority of women", and that women have a natural right to dominate men. Many of the men AGREE, and look forward to this."

Sickening drivel. I felt my hackles rise reading that download. Makes we wonder how many politicians we have in office who would believe the same.
My favorite response to "feminism is not a zero sum game": the "sum" of a game is a mathematical measure the value of which is unambiguously computed from the set of the game's rules, and only makes sense if the game is actually played by the rules. Since feminists constantly cheat, the claim that "feminism is not a zero sum game" is neither true or false: it simply makes no sense, because the "sum" of the game called "feminism" cannot be determined.
dude that was totally messed up.that definitely puts the sex war front and center, I wonder what's cookin'?
Pretty stupid though, what do they think, guys are going to voluntarily cut off their testes and hand 'em over?...oh, wait...( i know, I know NA GUYS ALT - everyone else, wake the hell up!)
I would like to see someone do a video to shove people's bias in their collective faces. It would go like this:
2 scenes, side by side. Both in a kitchen. In one, a guy is washing the dishes and a woman comes up and smacks him hard enough to movie his head. He looks over to her and they laugh. On the other side of the screen, exactly the same thing, at exactly the same time, but genders reversed.
Better yet, a montage of scenes like that. A woman yelling at a man, a man yelling at a woman, etc, etc. Make sure everything is the same on both sides of the screen except the gender of the participants....
Gag! And 45 million views. This really is popular culture.
I read the lyrics and they're weird and crazy. A total lie!
Who are the world's CEOs? Presidents? Miners and Oil Rig Operators? Investment Bankers? Firefighters? Real soldiers who are willing to die or suffer injuries to keep us safe?
Men.
They deserve our respect and appreciation, not mocking.
Believe it or not, for some feminists Beyoncé is not feminist enough. Zoe Williams at The Guardian almost regards her as a traitor to the feminist cause: Can a feminist rejoice in the likes of Beyoncé or Lagarde?
"Zoe Williams at The Guardian almost regards her as a traitor to the feminist cause"
Yes, because she is not sure about the 'cleanning the earth', the 'reduction by 80% of male population' and the whole 'final solution to the male question' part of the feminist agenda...
