Germaine Greer, for the record, is a Real Feminist who dwells smack in the middle of feminism's radical core -- quite unlike those friendly, earnest feminists outliers you might know, who inhabit the "fluffy fringe" in the the Oort cloud of the feminist solar system. Now, you would need to run at least fifty earnest feminists through your garlic press to extract the quantity of anti-male venom concentrated in a feminist like Greer, so you might think that the earnest feminists aren't worth much in the feminist scheme of things. Yet they play a vital role in providing camouflage. For while it is true that feminism would amount to very little if the radical man-haters didn't exist, it is equally true that feminism couldn't survive for long at all if those legions of fluffy earnest ones were not hanging around confusing the issue in the popular mind.

Lulz. Looks like she finally found some men she can't fuck with and have society nod their heads along and go "Durrrr,that correct!". They aren't going to let her fuck with the military as long as those men dying means they don't have to.
The more I read of the comments of these types pf pieces, the more I see the angry writing on the wall. Seems as if we might be moving toward an "awakening" after all. Our type of graffiti is being left all over the place for the world to see, and the feminist tags online are beginning to be painted over. Notice some of them are no longer safe in their own blogs without heavy moderation of comments now? And they so rarely come out to play in our spaces....

It's a pretty decent barometer, I think...

Even more disgusting than Greer herself is that the UK media keeps giving her a platform to spout all this garbage. Still, it's nice to see she's 72, she'll be dead in a few years.

Hopefully, less of a role in educating others. I think as the tide begins to change, most will begin to dismiss Julian's ideas. We will always have individuals who will espouse his ideas even in the face of financial and social disaster, but I think that ultimately his voice may be drowned out by common sense and a healthy dose of individual freedom rather than classicist and Marxist ideology.
Was that a jab? I couldn't tell. Sometimes I'm dense to such things.
