The Recent Mass-Killing in Connecticut
A school shooting incident which dwarfs the Columbine incident, has taken place in Connecticut. Our heart, needless to say, goes out to all concerned in their time of loss and affliction.
Moving along to the next item:
I predict that the feminists will spin this into another morality tale about "flawed masculinity", and prove to us once again that they are man-hating assholes.
Let's see if my prediction comes true.

My thoughts exactly. I believe these are not random acts of violence but are coordinated in some way to advance the banning of guns.
The feminists AND the anti-gun groups will no doubt wallow in this ... ad nauseam.
I agree with you, absolutely, Fidelbogen! Anything they can do to further their own evil agenda against the GOOD men of our country and throughout the world!

Fidelbogen:
A second prediction: the first thing that the police announce will be that the suspect either read pornography, or some bring up some other sexual 'inpropriety' totally unrelated to the incident.
This happens EVERY time. After the Aurora Colorado shooting, the first 'discovery' the police announced was that Holmes visited 'adult websites.'

quote from Obama -
Saying he was reacting as a parent of two daughters, he called the shooting a "heinous crime" and vowed to press for meaningful action, regardless of the politics, to prevent more such incidents in the future. "We've endured too many of these tragedies in the last few years," he said.
This will also mean more gun control - "regardless of the politics"...
And of course, what you said about the feminists.
Hell, maybe if the shooter listened to rap music - antagonists of that will protest rap music.
Whomever does these things - is exploiting the deaths of the innocent victims to further their own political or social agenda.
You tell 'em 'Crow, you tell 'em!
So far, in the lead, we have ManBoobz - cherry picking comments, and pretending to care about the victims of the shooting:

Futrelle is one of the most contemptible people on the planet.
He is using this tragedy for ratings on his blog.
He truly is a worm.
Scarecrow:
After the Aurora shooting, Obama also pointedly said that gun control would have to be considered because of 'kids killing kids like this'. I think I heard him say the same thing here on the radio about an hour ago.
The shooters in both cases were in their early 20s---not 'kids.'
But, according to the definition of Obamacare, dependent 'children' are defined as 26 or younger. There has been a lot of feminist iniative to raise the definition of 'childhood'---watch them try to work this angle in as well.
He shot his mom in the head. Make the bitch suspect #1. I bet she drove him to insanity.
I'm sure you're right. Of course, predicting that feminists will exploit a tragic event to demonize men and masculinity is like predicting that ice will melt if you leave it outside in 110 degree heat.

Correct me if I am wrong but has not the spate of mass shootings by intelligent, marginalised, white males (who often seem to live with mother) occured at the same time as the demonisation of males and the pedestalisation of women? If so, it is hard not to see a connection.
There are other countries in the world (e.g. Switzerland) where most people own a gun and this sort of thing does not happen.
@Opus: I have indeed noticed the pattern you speak of. It's as if they want to get brainy, intellectual types into the "profile", and not just obvious ruffians or pathetic losers (a la Sodini).

I have a hard time believing that the author is actually a black male. That level of racial antagonism toward whites specifically is generally reserved to other whites that lean hard to the left.
Opus & Fidelbogen:
According to the Huffington Post, the fit exactly that profile. They describe him as 'nerd' 'very intelligent' 'a shy loner who lived in affluent neighborhood.' &c.
BTW, his mother was also a 'heroic single mom' who divorced his dad in 2008 and collected a quarter million dollars a year in alimony payments. She's described as a 'pillar of the community.'
Not a word though about alienated or marginalized men. It does seem like they've become more prolific about the time that feminism became ascendent. So also have male suicides and gang violence, but we don't hear about that either.
