A Couple of Things You'd Do Well to Read

The feminist narrative of male violence in intimate relations is without doubt the crown jewel of feminism's anti-male talking points. If we could somehow arrange a dramatic Watergate-style exposé of the truth which they've covered up for almost 40 years, feminism would suffer a massive credibility hemorrhage. In this connection, the following links are a worthy investment of your reading time. You'll want to go slow and savor the material drop by drop:

Sure, these are great examples of rhetorical discipline, but there's a massive problem with this approach Fid...

It's so utterly mind numbingly boring to read, that even a man genuinely interested in this stuff, like me, loses interest LONG before the end of the article.

Seriously, this is dry Academic shit that not a single 'average guy' is going to waste his time on. And Academics don't want to hear it....so they won't.

Great stuff if you're in a Courtroom, or going for your thesis.

Absolute shit if you're trying to reach the common man. Boring Sidney...very, VERY boring.

By the way, your Captchas are fucking near impossible to read...how many tries do I get?

Thanks for the link.

If you find my posts boring, then you're not my target audience.

I don't find them boring, but it reminds me of a nature vid where the praying mantis patiently chews thru each strand of web while the black widow tries to ensnare it (him?). It made me think, we need people who are willing to parse issues out to the same level of detail, that feminists are willing to pervert it. Their job is easier, because they fabricate, while we have to decode and unravel, and strive for truthfulness and accuracy. So it's good we have this guy, and others doing just that.

Guys, you seem to be missing the point...

Factual refutations and logic are great...in the instances I mentioned. In the Real World(tm) things are a tad different. People are inundated with information all day, every day. Attention spans are tiny, and for good reason. We can't possibly care about it all, or even give it full attention.

If you are merely preaching to the converted for the sake of improving an argument in progress, or something...then sure.

But this kind of thing will go precisely nowhere if you aim to grow the movement. Pithy, funny, and perfunctory goes a lot further in that regard.

@Factory:

In case you haven't noticed, I also do pithy, funny and perfunctory. And so do plenty of others.

But meanwhile, the material behind those links is a goldmine of information and argumentation, and I am glad to make it available to my readers. (And I know that plenty of them appreciate such material; I know my readers.)

I have to agree with Fidelbogen: humor and soundbite writing and commentary only goes so far. It has to based in provable fact; or else it simply devolves into opinion and anecdote.

@Eric:

Factory is right. We need more of the approach that he describes. (Known as "squibbing".) In fact, we need to set up a training academy to teach people this craft in a very precise way, and then set them up with numerous websites so that they can begin to saturate cyberspace with their clearly differentiated signal.
